About this event
The 2027 edition of The Gravelscape, back in Jaén (Andalucía) over four days in late September.
The Gravelscape is a self-supported bikepacking event through the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas, the second-largest natural park in Europe and a Starlight Reserve. The 2026 edition ran two distances (Ultra and Half-Ultra); for 2027 the organisers have restructured the programme into a three-distance format, opening the door to a wider spread of rider profiles while retaining the self-supported ethos.
The terrain combines the Linares-La Carolina mining district, abandoned railway tracks and villages, a valley of ancient yew trees and badlands sections. The organiser note on the 2027 page is short: "all news coming soon". Full programme, registration and surface breakdowns will land at thegravelscape.com.
