About this event
Turnhout Gravel kicks off the Bolero Gravel Series and has quickly become a serious race: after hosting the 2024 Belgian Championship, the town now stages a qualifier for the UCI Gravel World Championships, and in 2026 it was also a qualifier for the European Championships.
The course is pure Kempen: endless sandy paths, wide forest roads and open fields, with fine, crunchy gravel that the organisers compare to the sport's American roots. There is barely any climbing, so the long, fast sections set the tone of the race.
Start and finish are in Turnhout itself, and the race is organised by Golazo, which also runs the other Bolero Gravel Series rounds in Flanders and the Ardennes.
