Veneto Trail

Veneto Trail is a self-supported bike adventure that loops from Cittadella up from the Po plain into the Dolomites and back, on a mix of dirt roads, trails, single-track and quiet back roads. The route changes every edition, and the organisers aim for a line that feels like a real adventure without becoming too hard.

To give an idea of the territory, the 2026 route followed the Brenta river, climbed to the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni on First World War mule tracks, ran past the lakes of Caldonazzo and Levico in Valsugana, crossed Passo Rolle under the Pale di San Martino and the Val Venegia, and finished over Monte Grappa with a long single-track descent full of hairpins.

It is not a race: the clock runs from start to finish with no time limit, and riders decide alone where to eat, sleep and whether to ride through the night, with no outside help allowed. The club A.S.D. Superbike Pozzetto runs the event, now heading for its twelfth edition, and waits at the finish with hot showers, a cold beer and a sandwich.
