First on the line: Guava is Gritline's founding bike partner
Seven weeks after Gritline launched, we have a first bike-brand partner. Guava is Barcelona-built, gravel-only, and sits closest to how Gritline reads in writing: bold, honest, made for the rider who chooses and commits.

Gritline launched in May with a simple bet: Catalan gravel deserves a proper guide. Routes ridden first, events verified with the organisers, a community built around the riders who actually show up. Seven weeks in, we've added something we hoped would happen eventually but didn't expect this fast: our first bike-brand partner.
It's Guava.
Why Guava
There's a version of this announcement that lists Guava's spec sheet: carbon frames, integrated cockpit, custom paint jobs. All true but none of it is why we partnered with them.
We partnered with Guava because of how they show up. Bold, honest and fun, Guava bikes are made for the rider who chooses and commits. Made with the same care and passion that we have at Gritline.
What changes for Gritliners
Starting this week:
- Exclusive Guava discount codes that live in your Gritline profile
- The Guava ClubHouse in Vallvidrera is open to Gritliners - drop in, see the bikes, talk to the people who build them
- The first Gritline × Guava social ride is in the works - Barcelona, a Catalan gravel loop, mandatory coffee at the finish (or a beer)
This is the start.
What doesn't change
The event calendar keeps featuring every gravel event worth knowing about, regardless of who sponsors them. Route articles keep mentioning whatever kit is actually on the bike that day - Guava or otherwise.
This is the part we want to be clear about, now, before any reader has to wonder. A founding partnership frames how Gritline gets built but it doesn't shape what we cover. Editorial independence is the whole point of an editorial guide, and the only reason a founding partnership is worth anything in the first place.
What's next
- The first Gritline × Guava social ride - to be announced - the summer heat and holidays might delay this a little so sit tight
- A long-form review of the Guava ACE on Catalan terrain
If you're already a Gritliner, the code is live in your profile now. If you're not, that's the door: gritline.cc/signup.

Welcome to the line.
